Hygienic Humidification
of Fruit, Vegetables
and Baked Goods
Better Quality and Improved Food Industry Production Processes
There are several situations that require the humidification or cooling of food, but for these applications, water quality and hygiene are necessary.
Humidification facilitates the fermentation of yeast and subsequent rising of bread in commercial baking. These operations usually employ either steam or cold-water mist.
Supermarkets use humidification systems to moisten and thereby evaporatively cool fruits and vegetables to increase their longevity, while maintaining their fresh appearance and saving energy.
Generators convert potable water into steam, cold-water mists at variable pressures by means of spray nozzles or ultrasound via piezo ceramic components. To ensure the mist complies with strict hygienic standards, the system treats cold water prior to its application as mist.
